  • Identify portfolio pieces to create to show you can do the job.

Session 2: Getting Interviews

In this session, we’ll review the progress you’ve made since the last session, making sure you are representing yourself as a top candidate. We’ll also explore strategies for getting your foot in the door at your top prospects.

  • Review your revised resume.
  • Review your portfolio pieces.
  • Discuss strategies for getting your foot in the door at top 3 opportunities.

Session 3: Interview Preparation

In this session, we’ll make sure you are ready to ace the interview.

  • Discuss solutions you can bring to the interview to wow the employer.
  • identify key elements to highlight to make you stand out.
  • Practice common interview questions.
  • Review follow-up best practices.

Session 4: Negotiating Compensation

Now that you’ve aced the interview, we’ll make sure you are prepared to get the best offer possible.

  • Review competitive salary data so that you know the landscape.
  • Practice negotiating techniques (I won’t make you do anything you aren’t comfortable doing!).
  • Discuss how to coordinate multiple offers.
  • Celebrate your new opportunity!

Develop Skills – $ Varies

In some cases, I might recommend that you focus on developing your product skills before pursuing your dream job. In this case, we’ll work to identify a custom skill-building plan to get you there.

We’ll develop a plan based on:

  • Your interests
  • Your current skills
  • Filling in the missing gaps
